Being from the Hardy family tree, I lean towards playing in the dirt, aka, gardening. I look forward to end of Winter and anticipate my first crocus blossoms pushing up through the thawing ground. I plan out my garden almost as soon as it is cleaned up the previous fall. I spend time thinking of what I want to plant. I also entertain ideas that might make my garden bigger and better.
But, this Spring sure has taken it's sweet time to make it's grand entrance. By this time in previous years I would have half of my garden planted, the lawn mowed at least twice and my green peas would be curling up out of the cultivated soil.
If you could look out my window into my backyard you would see exactly how it was left last Fall. Well, that's not entirely true. Scott has tilled the garden in anticipation of planting, but then it snowed. Scott prepared our last two sections that need to be seeded for grass, and then it snowed. I transplanted a few Rose of Sharon bushes and a Lilac bush, and then it snowed. We bought a bunch of fertilizer and some peat moss to make a great strawberry bed, and then it snowed.
I have been patient for Spring long enough! If we don't get going any time soon, I think I'll go back into hibernation.

What a great writer you are
It just tickles me to read your descriptions. Wow! I didn't know how multi-talented you were in so many things, especially in writing! What a treat! You have had a very very long winter and I hope you have a great spring and summer because of all of the moisture.
Write a letter to God. It's sunny over here :)
