I just wanted to take a moment and expound on one of the many admirable qualities that I appreciate in my husband. Scott is very goal oriented. Kind of an 'eyes on the prize' type.
For starters, I should have seen it coming when he asked me to marry him only two short weeks after our first date. He set his eyes on the prize while perusing the ward directory, with pictures, and decided that he wanted to take me out.
Another life changing goal that he set was to attain a Bachelors degree in Accounting. I watched him systematically take and pass his courses in about 2.5 years. He did this with dedication and devotion and even by reading each textbook cover to cover.
Fast forward a bit and we are now in our own home. With a new home comes landscaping. Scott committed to hand digging the sprinkler trenches to insure that they were perfect and also to same some coin. It took him 4 summer's but, I gotta say, he is a driven man.
With the sprinklers completed last year, Scott took on a new challenge. This new challenge involved coordination, strength, skill, balance and that determined spirit that shines through when he has set his goal. Would you believe that Scott has mastered the fine art of unicycling? Stop by for a visit and ask to see the one man circus act!
